For the Summit project in Redwood City, A.K.I. Design Group executed a full-scale interior transformation centered on the serene elegance of Japandi aesthetics. By blending the rustic warmth of Scandinavian hygge with the minimalist intentionality of Japanese design, we crafted a space that feels both curated and profoundly peaceful. Our team oversaw the selection of all materials and finishes, prioritizing organic textures such as light-toned woods, natural stone, and matte metals. Every element, from the seamless cabinetry to the tactile wall finishes, was chosen to foster a sense of wabi-sabi beauty and functional simplicity, resulting in a cohesive, high-end sanctuary that perfectly balances modern luxury with quiet restraint.
Beyond the initial design phase, we provided comprehensive construction administration services to ensure the vision was realized with absolute precision. Our team acted as a dedicated advocate for the client, going far above and beyond the standard scope of work to navigate the complexities of the build. Whether it was troubleshooting onsite technicalities, coordinating meticulously with contractors, or providing hands-on support for unexpected challenges, we remained deeply committed to the project’s success.
